Hey guys.
How was your week?
I'm super tired. I haven't gotten my schedule for work yet. I suffered through a 3 hour class without a break. I have homework up to my ears. The whole night class thing is killing me.
I know I'm complaining, but I only got a little bit of sleep because I was helping my friend/one of my boyfriend's best friends with his classes until 5 in the morning..
And I have a light on my car.. that says I need to have something checked and it's been on for a couple of days.. That might be bad. :(
Does anyone know if it's hard to get big companies to donate stuff to organizations and programs. I was thinking about something like.. Jamba Juice or Starbucks or McDonalds.
But, on the bright side. Four day weekend to get everything done! :)
Oh! My 2 year anniversary is on the 18th! So, I have a couple of weeks to finish my present (a scrapbook..). Oh boy. I haven't even started yet.
I promise the schedule will return to normal this week. :)
Good night everyone. I really need to catch some Zzzzzz. :)
Happy Friday!

Years ago my mom was working a fundraiser for my school and she wrote to all kinds of companies in the St. Louis area. She got so much stuff they had to save some of it for the next one.
Companies LOVE to donate things for organizations. It makes them look good and donating gift certificates and such generates them business. And some actually like giving back to the community.
Sounds like you have a lot on your plate. Thank goodness for four day weekends.
That sounds like an excellent idea! I heard that Costco likes to donate gift certificates. I'm trying to get Jamba Juice to show up at our event because the program will get 20% of the proceeds, which is amazing!
I just need to get together with my coordinator to write up a letter and just mail them all out. Do you write to the headquarters or the individual stores?
Yes, I have so much on my plate. I'm actually not sure if I can do everything yet. I found out that I get to go in for my training on Tuesday. Yay! :)
